A full day touring the northwestern area of the Corfu, taking in some of the most beautiful views across and from the island.

Starting at the Kaiser's Throne at Pelekas, through Paleokastritsa to Lakones, visiting delightful traditional villages and incredible views.

The final stop at Helidoni for one of the best views looking across Agios Georgios to the Diapontia Islands.

Kaiser's Throne - Pelekas

The Kaiser's Observatory dominates the highest point of the settlement of Pelekas, it is the last and particularly elaborate work of the Kaiser, the philhellene emperor of the Germany, Wilhelm II.

Shortly before his death in 1914, he left a unique gift to the locals and visitirs of the island, his observatory, where he found peace and enjoyed the view of the island and the beauties of the olive tree of Corfu.

Bella Vista - Paleokastritsa

Paleokastritsa is on the west coast of Corfu and it is full of rocky formations and small caves. It has the most beautiful and breathtaking landscape of the island. The water are crystal blue, excellent for scuba diving! The most famous caves you can visit is the Blye Eye Cave and Nafsika's Cave.

Traditional Villa of Lakones

On the slope of a green hill above the enchanting coves of Paleokastritsa is the small but very picturesque village of Lakones. Old stone houses of the 18th and 19th century on a narrow street and elderly women walking around in traditional costumes compose a charming traditional Corfiot setting.

Helidoni View - Pagoi

Pagi is a traditional, beautiful villag located on the northern slopes of Mount Istoni, in the northwest pasrt of the island, 28km away from Corfu Town and at an altitude of 170 meters. The morphology of the ground fully agrees with the version of the name, since before the entrance of the village, at the location "Katarraktis", there are six imposing rocks of large dimensions.

For the lovers of walks it is recommended as a route, while on the way there are also many shops, restaurants and cafes.

At Agios Spyridon the beach is covered by sand and all the boat taxis are there to take you around the caves and secluded beaches. It is the crowded beach around Paleo with restaurants and bars.

Other beaches are Alipa, Agios Petros and Agia Triada.

On the hill of Paleokastritsa there is also the monastery of Panagia Theotokos with a fabulous view and a small museum within its walls. For our littel young friends there is a reptile house full of snakes, lizards, turtles etc.

Traditional Villa of Lakones

On the slope of a green hill above the enchanting coves of Paleokastritsa is the small but very picturesque village of Lakones. Old stone houses of the 18th and 19th century on a narrow street and elderly women walking around in traditional costumes compose a charming traditional Corfiot setting.

The building of the music club "Lakonites" of the village also house a Folklore Museum, it includes achives, old photographs, music books, traditional costumes, objects of everyday use as well as minitures of boat-papyrella made of papyri (vourlos).

The area is also suitable for hiking lovers as there is a path, steep of cours, that connects it with Paleokastritsa. We will have a short stop for phots of the bay of Paleo.

Helidoni View - Pagoi

Today this mountain range is called by the locals "The Three Mountains", a rough spot with a very strong view.

The beach is sandy with traditional fish taverna and local coffee shops.
